WHAT IS REFLEXOLOGY?

Reflexology is a natural, ancient, non-invasive healing art that is based on the principle that there are reflexes in the feet, hands and ears that correspond to every part of the body. The physical image of the body is mapped onto the feet in a logical, anatomical pattern; the toes represent the head, the ball of the foot represents the chest area, the soft part of the foot corresponds to the internal organs, and the heel of the foot corresponds to the pelvic region in our body.

Observed congestion or tension in any part of the foot mirrors congestion or tension in a corresponding part of the body.Massaging and applying pressure to these area parts on the feet causes the body to normalize itself naturally.Thus, when you massage the big toes, there is a related effect in the head, and applying Reflexology to the whole foot allows the body to relax experiencing a profound sense of well being

Reflexologists do not diagnose, prescribe or treat for specific conditions and should not be used as a substitute for necessary medical treatment. They treat the whole person, often working together with other medical and complementary therapies to achieve the best results for the client.
